The first RX wsop team meeting

Ok, so based on the thread I started last week, the following people are on the team:

Illini (Oh holy founder)
Hitman26
Darryl Parsons
World Number One
Kornholio
steeser
peteep

If I missed anyone please chime in.

So, I think we have to decide how much our initial wager will be. I personally would be happy to see us start with $165. Assuming all wagers would be at -110, we would have just over $15k after seven wins in a row. Obviously, I encourage people to shop for the best line they can find when we decide on a play.

Now, the hard part. What will be our first wager? I have had success finding NBA winners, and would like to throw picks out there if I see ones I like on a daily basis. I would encourage others to do so. If you REALLY like a bet, then sell it to the rest of the team by explaining why we should make it a play.

Everyone has veto power. If you don't like a play, we don't make the bet even if all six of the other teammates like it.

What this means is that ideally we have everyone checking this thread, or a new one we start, on a daily basis. Does everyone check this board daily? Any comments?

i like it .. bring a pick to the table with your reason why and let everybody hash it out.

i wonder if we would be better off discussing things via email instead of out in the open. i'm sure here in the forum would be easier.

probably wouldnt matter, but just wondered if anybody else thought the same.

That would seem pretty easy, just check the WSOP team thread each day in the poker room. Remember guys, we're only betting the strongest plays we can find, so we can afford to be very selective over the next 3-4 months.

If we can throw a few -105's in there instead of -110's I will treat a couple of you to the best hookers we can find!

Fellas, I really like Oregon St over Notre Dame. I haven't checked the injury reports, but I've seen these two teams play a handful of times, and Notre Dame wasn't in the same league as OSU in the regular season. What do you guys think about making it our first play?
